    im not albanian but I go to Kosova and Albania every 2 years for a vacation & the country gets better and better every 2 years. this is a great little country with sexy people and great opp., to make good memories.

    this is an old documentary i think is in 1999 and lets face it we were bad but now albania is change rapidly

    haha. i would say that this was a waste of my time!! in such a place such saranda you would be suprised by its beauty, but this is focussing only in some bad parts and even making them looking worse than they are!
    I mean, u r in saranda! why didnt u go to its castle(Kalaja e lekursit)? or to Butrint- the remains of buildings since trojan times, or to the Blue Eye(a masterpiece of mother nature)? you miss places intentionally, but it aint working in that way lol!

    The problem with us is not because we honor and respenct The Kanun, but rather not respekting it entirely. I was shocked to discover that even women are involved in being killed in blood feud. This is stricktly forbiden.

    to all idiots who say albanians are inbred.we are the only muslym dominated country that geat on with other religions and inbreed is everywhere but not in albania as we are not allawed to marry even distant relatives so geat a brain and yes we do revenge our relatives as we love them and we are vrey close to our familys and give our lifes for each other but blood fewds are geating rearer now but if we meet you in europe and have the balls to say that again hmmm you will see my son.

    You can say what ever you want about Albanians,but I find them to be bright, hard working people,with strong family values. I am jealous, they remind me of my Italian family when I was growing up in the 60′s. My grandfather was the Patriarc of the family. When he died our family became distant, falling into American customs. They will go far in America. They stay together and support one another. I applaud you. I am not big on the blood feuds though.

    IT is going to take some time for albania to recover from the damage that was done from diktator hoxha and the komunist regjime.

    peoples in albania lost everything that is dear in western countries,freedom of speech,fredom of realigion,private property, and freedom itself.

    the komunist regime with their filthy propoganda striped down all the values that our people are known for,honor,trust,respekt,loyalty.

    only time will heal the wounds of the past.

    it will take some time.
