Tourism in Albania, although still underdevelopped, has seen an impressive increase in the recent years. Official data, presented to the media by former Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Ylli Pango, showed that 2089538 tourists had entered Albania from abroad during the first six months of 2008, which was a 23 percent increase compared to the same period of the previous year.Jun 03,2010
